No revolution, will it be enough to keep the tittles in their pocket ? Bridgestone is a crucial partner too. Wait and see ...

Wel,l I can't say it looks sexy, coz aerodynamics in Formula 1 cars is the priority, not looks. But the exterior seems cool, the red and white pattern a characteristic of all Ferrari Formulas. And what can I say about the specs ??

Ya, I thought the nose was going to be crazy as BMW. Oh well...it still looks nice.

I thought the nose was going to be more special but it isn't, the nose is more narrow and it looks great.

I was hoping for something a little more radical from Ferrari. However, if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't mess with success.

What's going on at Ferrari,
they never have been so open and talkative in the past

New strategy :?:

apparently that "special" front design didn't make it to the launch because they're still working on it. Seems they're going to work on it for these months and get it ready for the opening race.

I just readed on [/url]www.f1racing.nl comment from rory byrne and ross brawn, they said a couple of things about the f2004
It will be a good possibility that we see a different nose on the ferrari at the start of the season in melbourne, the 'new' parts are at this moment not yet ready.
As the testing for the new season continues, there will be new parts fitted to the car.
So I think we gotta see the f2004 in melbourne, altough there isn't much time left for them to develop.... :?

^I prefer the new williams as well .. there is something so aggressive about its nose plus it gives the finger to the rest of the manufacturers.. I hope monty kicks butt this year!

Looks like a typical Ferrari F1.......
Hope it does as well as the 2002 :D
thanks for the pics/links...but i have one quick question?!?!?
Is there going to be true manual shifting again????
I have read recently that due to regulations shifting is done 'manually' does this mean with clutch and shift knob again?!?!
thanks for the help!

Well, I think if anyone beats Ferrari, it will be McLaren. Look at the lap times, on his first week back, Schumi is matching the pace of the new Williams with his old F2003, and while on Brigdestones.

Yesterday Schumacher completed 34 laps and came close to the track record of 56"338 set on 29/03/03 with a time of 56"835 today without ever pushing the car to its limits. As a comparison, the F2003-GA managed a best lap of 57"045 on its debut at Fiorano on 11/02/03.
(From F1-Live)
It's a good sign that it comes so close with its first run to the lap record, hopefully it will dominate like in 2002 :D .

The German record-breaker, aiming for a seventh Formula One Championship this year, beat the record he set 24 hours earlier in the new F2004 with a time of 56.279 seconds. On Friday, Schumacher broke the record set last year by the F2003 GA with a time of 56.835.

The F2004 Broke the trackrecord on its second day out, hopefully it is a good sign for this season. :D

I guess BAR is better. Just see the numbers of Barcelona.

I like more the new mclaren.
Let's wait to see how they do in competition.
Anyway, when start's the new season?
I guess BAR is better. Just see the numbers of Barcelona.
Setting lap recoreds when no one else is pushing hard is meaningless. BAR will have to work on reliability, and it wont be a top 4 team, far from it.

I guess Ferrari are just doing what they've done every year for the last few years - making the packaging around the back end even tighter and cleaning up airflow under the car. Wonder if they'll ever go twin keel or if that is really the way of the future. :)

looks nice!!!
but the rear wing is huge!!!
gto625

Part of the new regulations this year include having to have larger rear wing end plates and engine covers so as to fit more sponsors on. Also, the number of elements in the rear wing itself has been cut from 3 to 2 so this may make each element appear larger.
