Dang, I was going to post that. Anyways, it looks real enough. And it matches the engine cover for the prototype as well.

And is there a special reason why it's blue? ;-)

Sweet pictures and car. I'm just curious as to how much GM is going to price the car. I'm also wondering if this was really leaked or "leaked" intentionally to kill some of the Skyline fervor.
As much as I love something like the Scuderia, this is one monster I could reach for some day. Rock on.

I doubt that Chevy's responding to the GT-R. People who want Corvettes don't want GT-Rs and people who want GT-Rs don't want Corvettes. Besides, the stock Z06 costs more than a GT-R, so this particular Corvette will cost quite a bit.
And yeah. Even so, the Corvette's price won't go even near the Scuderia's, not to mention the standard F430's.
Its exciting - but at the same time, it's not.
The "secret motor" turns out to be nothing but the XLR-V supercharger on an LS3.
The leather interior better be good for the $100,000 price they ar erumoured to be asking - as with a 650bhp supercharged motor, the car is not exactly going to be a track day friendly car.
Maybe this will tunr the Z06 into the "GT3" and the ZR1 into the "GT2" of the Corvette world - except both will still be quicker than their German and Italian counterparts.

Why wouldn't people who want Vettes want GT-Rs? The Z06 and the GT-R both cost about $70k with similar performance. If I had $70k to blow, I'd look at both. They're both performance bargains compared to the 911s, Ferraris, and RS4s of the world. You're right, the ZR1 will probably cost substantially more, but it's their flagship, and may shut up a few folks who've been hollering about the Skyline that's beating 911 Turbos and Z06s at the Ring. F430s and Modenas are in the different price range than the Vettes and 911s but they still get compared.
What I meant by the second statement was that although I'd rather have a Scuderia, I'm priced out for all intents and purposes. These Vettes on the other hand are something I can buy one day.

Well... It's like... people who have Evos wouldn't even look at STIs? Something like that? No? I'm sure many others understand what I'm saying.
