I am considering on having a 1987 BMW 325is coupe delivered by truck . Car is in North Carolina and it's new home will be New York. This way will definitely be easiest and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't cost much more than if I flew down and drove it back.
Any recommendations on a company to call up for quotes?

somewhere on ebay i read something about a company that ships for 2$ a mile
I'll do it for gas and a $200 hooker.
You did say youwanted the car delivered to Vegas right?

plane tickets are like $80 one way and i doubt gas would be more then $150 i dont think shipping it is a cheaper option. I looked into it once but never priced it to intensively.

I shipped my datsun from Seattle to Phoenix and it cost me (well, my parents) 600. With Diesel costs going through the roof, you're going to be better off getting a flight from Southwest and driving to NY.
SW flies out of ALbany, Buffalo, Long Island and LaGuardia and has a hub in Raliegh, NC.
on the southwest site, if you left Long Island on Dec 2 at 8am, you could get a ticket for 99 bucks pre tax.
