That sucks. It seems they are pushing themselves too hard, as I've also seen stuff like this before, lately.

Feher dies after collapse
Benfica's Hungarian international Miklos Feher has been pronounced dead after collapsing during his side's 1-0 win at Vitoria Guimaraes. Feher collapsed in injury time as his side scored the winning goal and after being treated for some time on the pitch was taken to hospital as his team-mates and coach Jose Antonio Camacho wept. He collapsed just after being booked by the referee. The 24-year-old was taken to Guimaraes hospital where efforts to revive him continued and the game was then concluded after he was removed unconscious.
R.I.P. Miki  :(

Very shocking...what's going on in the world, since when do people (who are healthy, and did sport every day) die at the age of 24???!!!

Not the first time this has happened lately--these guys get in to such good shape and can push themselves so hard. But sometimes one's brain can overpower the rest of the body.
Sorry to hear about this-- Normally this kind of stuff sounds distant to me because i don't really follow soccer- but if a hockey player died I would be greatly saddened. So I know where ur coming from.

RIP. I didn't know this player, but I am sad anyway :(
The same thing happened when I lived in London and my dad played for the Polish Embassy football team. A friend of his died during a match.

Since we are talking about football, let's bow our heads for Leonidas, a fantastic Brazilian player, who played in the National team in the 30's. He died yesterday at the age of 90. Practically, he invented the bicycle-kick.

were any kind of drugs involved? Not illegal ones but herbal ones. You know how lately people are dieing because of the ingredient Ephedra? Ig uess not since none of you mentioned it.

I think a baseball player recently died here in the states. He was using Ephedra I think. He suffered a heart attack during practice I think. I would guess this might be an Ephedra caused heart attack. Being 24, heart attacks are so rare, but with drugs that speed up your heart they can happen.

Well is sports many take speed(meth), so you never know. I wonder if they took his blood after his death to see if it was natural or cause by a drug.

McLarenF1God, they didn't found anything on the autopsy.
Natural death, he just seen a yellow card, smilled to the referee and then he fall's back, and stand lay down on the grass.
The funeral was made today in Hungary.
