Well for me it has to be the Vanquish, coz I'm a huge fan of Ian Callum's design...and the sound of the V12 engine is excuisite (download the Top Gear review - "Ferrari 575M vs. Vanquish" to hear it). I think of it as a sporty gentlemen.
Uhm.. not really all of them could be classified as sportscars I fear... Vanquish and Continental are GTs..
My vote for the TVR :D

Yeah, I know. I used the term sportscars coz the specs where in my mind. Both go 0-60 in less than 5 secs, both pass the 300km/h barrier. [/u]

Where's the Noble M12 GTO? I would probably vote for that one. The Vanquish is the most beautiful, but the gearbox and weight keep me from putting it in the top spot. The DB9 with manual gearbox would be more likely to get my vote. In this poll I chose the TVR. Real driver's car with raw power. I'm not too fond of the looks though.
So, my personal best British sportscar's not in this poll.

Damn !! How could I be so stupid, forgetting to put the M12. Sorry about that, I agree that it should be up there :(
Man this is a hard choice, I rule out the Bentley because its fugly. The Jaguar has a good race history, as does the Aston Martin... But the TVR is fast as all hell, but its interior isnt for me, which leaves me with the Jag, and the Aston. The Aston weighs more than the jaguar doesnt it? but it has power to make up for that weight, but as of lately jaguar has been winning everything. Shit, i take both.

I am tempted by the TVR Tuscan R (it's the only real true British car, Aston and Jaguar belong to Ford and Bentley is VW property) but i really love the Aston Vanquish so .... Vanquish :)

Even though I'm a big fan of aston martin, I'll have to vote for the TVR. TT is right, aston and bentley are both GT cars.

The only true sportcar is the TVR...
I vote TVR because I just love it, nothing can beat the mighty 440bhp/ton T440R for raw thrill of driving

TVR-real sports car. The rest are not real driver's cars.

As far as looks go I'd go with the Aston. But being that I am a purist
at heart I have to choose the TVR, now if they could only bring a little
logic and order to those interesting body curves it would be almost
perfect, of course I know that aerodynamics is what drives the styling
of this car and not looks. Of course I'd take any of them if they where
handed to me on a silver platter.

Of those the Tuscan is the besy buy. Reasonable price, superb everything else. The only thing holding is back is that paint, not that is bothers me.
Oh wait is that XKR-R cheaper and faster? I bet it is competition?

"Smell" more like an exotic than the other ones because of is exclusivity in design and interiors.

Aston Martin Vanquish is the best of everything that Britain can offer, not just in speed but in looks and status and quality.
Why is the Jaguar XKR-R even included? It's just a one-off testbed.

Well , the Bentley is an VW , the Aston and Jag are Ford engeniering
SO the only british one must be the TVR :!:

My vote goes for the Aston. I just love all the Astons. I feel like the Aston isn't really a true sports car though. As for a true British sports car, I must say it's definitely a Noble M12 GTO. It's such a beast.

I think the vanquish looks the best by far...I would probably take the vanquish because I have heard things about TVR's not being that reliable...thats really the only reason I would have trouble buying a TVR other than that they look great in pictures and look great on paper...but they aren't even road legal in the U.S. so thats a problem

My vote goes to Aston Martin Vanquish. The reason for my choice, is that I really like the Aston Martin Vanquish. Maybe it is because my father has one, but even though we have one in our garage, the design on that car is just gorgeous. The same is the engine. Nice one!
Even though I like the Tuscan, it won't get my vote because it is only right hand driven and it doesn't have all of the finesse as the Aston.

Tough call as they are all great at something. The GT's really do eat the miles on a journey (and petrol), but then for sports cars, it has to be the TVR. But then to stop the name calling if you bought one, I would personally vote the Noble M13 GTO 3R, which doesn't really help you with the poll.. apologies

I'm surprised you put the vanquish on the list rather than the DB9. The DB9 is rumored to have more hp, weighs less, has a much nicer interior, looks sleeker, costs about the same at the Bentley, and best of all, will be available with a conventional 6 speed gearbox.
The Vanquish is my second choice.

My vote goes to... The Aston Martin Vanquish, because it's the best allrounder.

HMMMMMMMM difficult............
Aston Martin is the King of car makers, its just the most royal, and i LOVE the looks(although i love the DB7 and DB9 more), but TVR is prolly much more fun to drive, and although it looks weird its kinda good-looking as well.........
the TVR, just for its originality
