Well tell us what do you think is the most famous corner off all circuits.

I guess it´s the Tamburello of San Marino, because Senna had crashed overthere.

"Eau Rouge" at Spa. It scares the drivers (or it use to...)

Good call!

I drove that course a year ago and I thought that I would be ok, but comming over that hill blindly into that corner is fucking nerve-wrecking. You'll spin so easily if you son't get your speed down FAST!

why is the tamburello so famous ? only because of senna?
it was a quick and nice corner thats all.
the eau rouge is nice for the drivers but not for the public.

TT,

The nordschleife is a >14 km circuit with, fortunately, more that 1 corner
But you're right, it's an awesome circuit :!:
Suppose that's why F1 has moved away from this circuit

@ CeesF1,

You're always free to disagree with the opinion of other people. But ot would be interesting to learn what, in your opinion, is the most famous corner of all circuits.

Eau rouge is one of the hairiest corners in racing, it has to be taken flat out in an F1 car at a speed of 280-300kmh!- Gerhard Berger almost was killed there

evrey cnr of the nurunburg ring, hahha

bathurst in australia has the worlds fastest cnr for touring cars anywhere in the world, at the end of "conrod strait"

i would have to agree with that monoco cnr mentioned eirlier

Technically... The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca is 2 turns, and Tamburello was just a slight kink when Senna died, unlike now....

So would chicane's be considered corners, and not just a set of kinks? The question was about the most famous corner, not most famous turns (like the Parabolica at Monza, 14,15, and 1 at Sepang)...

cheers.

Technically... The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca is 2 turns.

Technically... the world is always turning, so I guess we are always in a turn.

You can have an opinion without knocking everyone elses by taking the question too literally.

I would say... Loews in Monaco, Eau Rouge in Spa and the 130R in Suzuka

bathurst has too many to mention. from the 'cutting' to the 'forest elbow', every corner is fantastic

I give my vote to eau rouge.
one the fastest corners in the world.
zanardi had one of the most spectacular crashes in his 1993 lotus at eau rouge

Eau Rouge, Spa Franchorchamps would be the BEST corner in the world, i think.

BUt as for the most FAMOUS one, it would have to be the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Many a virtual driver have had their PlayStation ambitions scuppered by THAT one.

I think we should be careful to differentiate between whats best and most famous, aye?
