Apparently they were title washing the cars which appears now to be illegal in Texas. I knew you could get rid of a salvage title by retitling in Alabama then titling it back in Texas, but I always assumed it was legal.

So are the cars gone forever now? 61 cars is big amount of Mustangs already and it's a shame if they end their lives.

They made a huge number of Mustangs. in the 1960's.. there are only certain rare models...

The fastback or sportback Mustangs are rare and have been fetching good money for some time. In the last four years, since muscle car prices in general have skyrocketed, even the common Mustang is getting a little hard to find. They're still pretty reasonable though, especially when compared to Camaros of the same era.

My first car was almost a 1969 Mustang Grande - blue hardtop with a 302 and a 3 speed automatic. My mom didn't let me buy it despite having the money. I have my TA so I'm happy.
