Mercedes CLK500 What Does Everyone Think

A friend of mine has one - VERY nice.

If you can't swing the $90G for an SL500 - it is the next best option (obviously no top down...).

I have a friend with an SL500 and a friend with a CLK500 - both excellent cars in their own right.

I dont' know why...but I like the last one better...the new one seems a lot more mmmm girly?...although I never liked the convertible...I think the best one is the last CLK Coupe...

i test drived the clk500

is pretty fast on highway
i could easily get up to 190kmh


but i didnt really test out the handling


the interior was very nice, and i like the rear window,, kind of cool

but if have the money, definitly got with clk55amg

The car looks really nice but as far as value of money is concerned it scores rather low. I think that it is an overpriced c class, i would choose an m3 instead just for its engine

and the nice part is that the engine is naturally aspirated, no need for compressors at bmw's motorsport division :D

The CLK is a nice looking car but it's uncomfortable, my uncle bought a CLK55 and he traded it in about a week later for an SL55 because the car justwasn't as nice as some of the other Mercedes. he was comparing it to hsi S55 though so that could have swayed his opinion a little bit.

I have driven one it is quite nice but inferior to the SL55 AMG, I don't know how the CLK55 AMG drives but I know for sure it is not better then the SL
