The new SS, Blue Devil, now ZR1 Corvette showed up uncovered at Laguna Seca and was photographed.

600hp ok, but I was hoping for a little more in the looks department. I still prefer the Ron Fellows Corvette over this one, even with the extra hp.
How about a real wing or some of those rear air baffels. The hood is, I'm sorry ugly.

The black stickers spoil it abit too much I think, so I still prefere the Z06 in looks. 600hp is insane, it must fly.
It wasnt uncovered, and the car was never claiming or claimed to be a "new model" - it is just a new option.
The hood is , I'm sorry, still covered ;)
It is rumoured to be what I wanted to do years aog - have a clear plexiglass panel ;)

how can anybody take Winding Road seriously?
I think it looks good. I like the black roof, but the black rear spoiler and side panels in the front should be yellow IMO. :D

The "black covers" are COVERS covering the actual bits and pieces that ar estill being COVERED and not shown to the public.
The car is still UNDER COVER.. :)
It is also not a new model Corvette, just a new option package of the C6.
All I want to see on anything related to the corvettes body change is the deletion of those Fugly and cheap looking headlights!

Even without reading I would think that it would be clearly obvious that those bits are minor camo, but I guess not.
I thought it would have also been obvious that this is nothing more than a suped up C6, not a new car, but I guess not.

This definitive version looks almost identical to the covered prototypes that I've seen in pictures :D

Besides, my post wasn't really directed at you, but all of the Corvette haters that talk bad about the car even when it handily beats the cars they adore.

when i saw those black parts my first thought was "what are they hiding?" it's pretty obvious that this isn't going to be the final version in the looks departement ;)
what really quizzed me is why the car looks so incredibly short on those photos.. .everytime i see pictures of other corvettes or see them in real, they give me the impression of being way longer than that... weird
