Man in Hong Kong races his Ferrari. He crashes and the car burns. His racing buddies extinguish the blaze, but the Ferrari is gone. But, the number plate, LE888, survives.

Sad news about the driver :( It is pretty interesting how a plate could come out of a fiery wreck undamaged. Maybe 8 is a lucky number...

Maybe he was taking a turn, or was avoiding a stray dog. Speed is not always a factor in a lot of crashes. Just like most drownings occur within a metre of the pool's edge. Many other factors.
