Whaaaatttttt there's a 40D now??? DAMN, I've been out of the photo game for waaaayyyy toooo long. What's the difference between the 40D and 30D? I know that the 30D wasn't that much different from my 20D, is it the same situation this time?

Congrats on the Canon, I played around with the 30D before and that was an awesome machine. Almost made me want to jump ship to Canon. ;)

I can just imagine how good the 40D would be especially considering that the 30D was only a "slight" improvement over the 20D before it.

Hehehe i had the 40D since day of release here in the uk and im more than satisfied! love it... great tonal range..AF...Live View... Focus Screens.... list goes on :D:D

HI lexion i got mine at the link bellow warehouse i ended up paying 839.99 for body only when i got mine day of release..but now price is looking alot better 749.99 and canon are doing there cashback offer of £50
so you can get a body now for 699.99 :rolleyes:

Hi nthfinity i only noticed there was a forum here yesterday! :D 20D to 40D you would notice some obvious and deffinate improvment the most obvious being More MPx and Much Bigger LCD...!!
