Holy jump! Yesterday in the evening was decided that I have to go to Russia as the stupidness of russian bureaucratiscm is unbeliavable so to make one stamp in papers I have to go there personally :roll:
I am pissed and glad at the same time as I havent been there for 16 years (:shock:) but have to leave the work when I had to have a sale :|

So be good while I am out there :P

Taking from work POS Olympus so wait for some pics :wink: I will be going thru Moscow and will walk it around abit as we will have almost a full day waiting for another train to my city. I hope there will be internet available so I can upload pics somewere as I can get only 64 pics on memorycard :?

2 hours ago came back from the train :D Pics and some info will follow :wink: Pretty good trip, there are HUGE changes of the country and many things are still the same(broken roads, hidden cigarettes contrabanda in the train) :lol: its good to be back, 7 days without internet was relaxing actually :P

Damn internet died while I was writing up my story yesterday :mrgreen: Me no dumb - me write in notepad so me no lose what me wrote :D

So, full traveling distance was about 5000km alltogeather all covered in russian trains :D There are tonns and tonns of scary stories flying around about travelling in russian trains thats why you cant see there anyone but russians, the rest is taking 3 hour flight from Prague to Moscow. If there will be "next time" going to russia I am taking a flight. The waste of time and plain boredome in trains is incredibly painful. From 7 days of travelling we spent 3 full days in trains :?

First we(me and my mom) arrived to Mocsow. Dropped our luggage in the morning at my uncle's place and went for a walk to the Red Square and surroundings while waiting for a train in the evening to my city.
Red Square was closed due to preparations to some action :bah: I dont remember Moscow very much as last time I was there was... about 20 years ago :oops: :mrgreen: Prices of flats are in-fucking-sane :shock: example - there are appartments for rent for 20-40.000$ a month in the center of city :faint: its an extreme of course for an exclusive apartments but fuck me people willing to pay that are filthy rich. As for buying the appartment - a sqare meter of a simple appartment near center costs about 4000$.
There is an incredible amout of S-class, 7-class, A8's, Bentley's and other expensive cars, in the most of them you can see someone sitting in the drivers place... well they are privat drivers :) so taking pics of those cars is not that easy thats why I didnt take many of them 8)

Few pics of my city. Now all seemes SO small to me :D Tree's grew up alot for 16 years LOL Its a smaller city, the center is very well done but the side parts of town as the one we had the appartment in are sometimes in terrible condition - see the pic with "road" condition :D When we left to Czech 16 years ago there was lines for fucking bread(no kidding), now you can buy anything you want just like in other normal countries.
Drivers are sligtly insane there going from lane to lane mostly without using turing lights, in 2 lanes you can see 4 lines of cars but with all the chaos its pretty relaxing I have to tell you cause all the drivers know how they drive so they are predicting other drivers reactions alot :D

In the train to Czech on on Polish border police found cigarettes hidden behind the pannels of the roof in each coupe including ours :D They didnt tell us anything as its probably a common thing there

nice trip, and yah trains suck...I remember taking one from Moscow to Warsaw and half way through we had to change wheels? cause the tracks in poland were wider or narrower, but it was a worthless trip

Yes it was "special" feeling for sure especially as I was in our appartment for the last time as it is sold already. In fact I have no place to go back to anymore :mrgreen:

Russia is not scary at all, deffinitly interesting place to visit theres ALOT to see only in Moscow. Just dont take a train there or you will die in boredom :mrgreen:
