I saw this Maybach in Indiana of all places. I had no idea what is was at first and had no prior knowledge of Maybachs before this but when I saw it I knew it was expensive. So I took a bunch of pics. i cant remember the exact number that were to be sold in the us but it was pretty dam low.

I dont know it this is a 57 or a 62 or what the difference is between the both.

the 57 is 5.7m long where as the 62 is 6.2m long. this one looks like a 57 to me.

That thing's hella ugly, and I'm sure the owner knows it...but doesn't care.

What an amazingly decadent car.

Definitely a 57. Crazy that it's just out in the open like that. Were you at a park or something? That just screams "door ding me".

It's definately a 57. BTW...we have Maybachs in Poland too. Only one has been sold so far in a country with a 38.000,000 population.

as soon as any1 comes near the Flying Lady, it snaps back into the bonnet of the car. All cars have a system like that, EU law says they gotta have it. Jaguar Cat snaps back, mercedes Star rolls over.
its for pedestrian protection in case of an accident(and against shitbags who r trying to steal ur ornament ofcourse)

Great pics the difference between the 57 and the 62 is that the 62 has more legroom and it haves 'airplanes' seats that are electronically operated. You can also have - only in the 62 - a transparent roof and with the switch of a button it goes translusive or it dark or the lights goes on. The 62 is obviously longer and slower then the 57 by 0.2s from 0 to 100km/h.

its a 57 ...which means 5.7 metres long the 62 is 6.2 metres , u can tell by looking at the length of the rear door .....

Fletcher Jones in newport has had at least 2 that I have seen, the same 62 from the LA auto show was in the showroom last week. Its really sick, there are curtains on the back windows... I dont think I can post up pictures yet (1st post) otherwise Id go back and snap some.

I love the maybach. Are you close to chicago at all? (NW Indiana) That's weird to see a Maybach out in a "common" parking lot like that. VERY nice though!
