I'm trying to watch the world cup but it's basically impossible to get in America unless you have satellite, which I don't. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way I could watch the matches online, preferably for free.. thanks

I'd like to know that too. Here on ESPN they broadcast some games (from the main Teams) but i wanted to watch others as well.

They show them in the middle of the night, here, free-to-air, which is good. They probably won't do that in the US because the US rugby team is about as good as rugby as Eric the Eagle was at ski-jumping. The next best thing would be a live feed of the scores, or a minute-by-minute commentary, which http://www.guardian.co.uk does for some games.
