Since the info was leaked over the weekend, there's not much new to report about the C 63 AMG wagon. There are, however, high-res shots of the warp drive-equipped station wagon available now, and they're in the attached gallery.
In case you missed it over the holiday weekend, here's a rundown on the essentials:
* AMG 6.2L V8 producing 457 horsepower/442 lb-ft
* Paddle-shift equipped 7-speed automatic
* 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds
* 155 mph top speed (electronically limited)
* Full AMG appearance package inside and out
* Up to 53 cubic ft of cargo space
* One-touch opening and closing tailgate
* European market launch in beginning of 2008
* Price (inc. VAT): €69,853
Hopefully it doesn't just stay in Europe, because this is one trick 'lil wagon. We'll get plenty of live shots and provide first-person impressions for you when it's unveiled next week in Frankfurt. Mercedes' full press release is included after the jump.
i still like the RS6 Avant more, but i cant compare cuz its not in its category but i can compare it to the RS4 Avant, which is much more fun to drive with its 6 speed manual tranny that has a bad easy to break clutch rather than this boat, ok its newer and faster, but it has a gearbox that acts like a automatic...why benz why the AUTO feel???
i read in sum forums n blogs that AMG r not gonna be building its transmissions anymore for thr cars, they're maybe switching to Getrag or i think FZ...but cmon dont u think its time for benz to have a proper 6 speed manual or DSG kinda gearboxes for AMG cars as an option? ok, this one blips when u downshift, but u'll not feel upshifts like the SMG or DSG and wont feel the diff banging even in sports mode! it'll still feel like any auto...
anyways back to the car...

the RS4 tail lights and the rear diffuser r much nicer than this classic benz look with its never-ending style AMG kit which is getting really boring and old with too many replicas available.

ok, i agree with u that it has a beefier n much more aggressive front than the RS4 Avant, but im not diggin the also classic grill it has, it should've been CF or just matt black to have a meaner appearance.

u c what i mean?? the diffuser and the bumper is so classic! nothing major has been changed in the kit.

here u can notice that the front fender is bigger than the rear which is a dissapointment for its looks, they shouldve made the rear fenders like the new S class.

overall the RS4 wins..it handles better and looks better, and its known that Audi make the nicest station wagons that is show and go, but if you're thinking of modding, then go for the benz, with this C63 u can just add boltons and upgrade the ECU and ull be having approx 550hp, that is a nice jump for just bolt ons, on the other hand the RS4 needs a MTM supercharger upgrade to reach the 500+ teratory that will cost you more than boltons with dealership warranty in UAE ( Dubai, and Abudhabi )....
