Porsche Showtime Interlaken 2007 - 350 pics!

Biggest Porsche meeting in Switzerland, one of the biggest in Europe I think. 1097 cars this year, and between them, my humble 964! There were many white 964! I was surprised!

The place is magnificent, and to get there, you need to go up and down some of the finest roads in the Alps!

It's held on military ground, this meant the airstrip was free for everybody to have fun on it, and it was impressive to see stuff like the light blue 993 GT2 EVO pushing out in excess of 600 hp literally crushing cars like 997TT and other moden shit :)

No modern Carrera GT! Only the three 924 and a 356 Carrera GT aswell... but well, this is a meeting for ppl liking to give their car a trash on some mountain passes, and it has to be said that most CGT users tend just to pose on a lake shore or in town sadly :(

Yep, the 964 took me there, even if I would have preferred to ride the Ducati (4000 km done with it already). There is a single pic of it in the bunch, poor little thing!

Loving the GT2 Evo and the other wild machines, too many nice ones! Are those carbon fibre centered wheels on the Polish 996 GT2 faker? How did it look in person?

Also, the white Carrera you posted seems more like a 996 with the 997 front end conversion, rather then a 997. Look at the rear lights.

yep, that's a 996. it also has the GT3 MkII sideskirts which doesn't suit for the 997 models. but a good looking car.

Interlaken is a pretty cool town to go to during the summer with lots of shit to do for the adventurous type. Also a place to meet lots of back packing college girls who shack up in Balmers Hostel...hehe ask me how I know.

Anyways great pics TT! Really makes me regret me knowing going to this event this year. Oh well there is always next year and if we want we can make it a JW mini meet for the Porsche fans on the site?!

Carbon looking but not real carbon IMO. And in person the global result was quite nice, but not the wheels
