My European Car Sightings - Big Post

I am still working on the rest of the pictures from my trip, but I thought I would get things started with my various car sightings. I missed quite a few cars because we were often in a hurry or I didn't have time to get the camera out. Some of the pics were shot from the hip and I am still getting used to my D80.

Anyway, here are the "better" ones I got.

Spain

This first pic is of the back of one of the rental Audis we had on our way to Ronde from Calahonda which was a really nice and curvy road. I thought we would have at least gotten Peugots or something that we don't get at home, but we basically ended up with a car I see, and drive, every day, an Audi A4. Granted, these A4s were newer and were 2.o, diesel and FWD.

Fantastic trip. looks like you got your money's worth. Regarding pictures, you can make a copy of them and size them down to 1600*1200 or similar resolution thru Adobe photoshop and save it at level 10 which should put you inside the 1 MB limit that imageshack and other hosting sites treat as the max limit.

LOL at the funky looking Seat Marbella!! :lol: There were so many versions out of that shity Seat... one of them even called LaMoto or something similar... as it had a 903cc engine, just like a bike :D very popular in Spain during the early 90s :P

The Nürburgring looks like the highlight of your trip, not only for the GP but for the cars at the paddock of the Nordschleiffe - 288 GTO Evoluzione, 330 LMB, silver F50, white CLK63BS - you can't really ask for more!! :P

LOL I saw that Seat with the "Fun Casual Look" and was like WTF? Nothing about this car looks fun or even casual. Ya, as far as cars went, the Ring had the best sights of my trip. It was nice to see and Enzo in front of the Ferrari gates though and the driver gave all the onlookers a little show by taking off pretty hard once he straightened out.
