same here, the gas station smell is nice... reminds me likie you said of refuling on a trip. And it's not so long for me.. I'm turning my nose for Nürburg in the middle of August. Time to se how much faster the unrestricted RS2 will go over the 163mph limit. (and ofcouse I have to beat the A8 lap time)

I guess the smell is a combination of gasoline, oil and other fluid spills on the ground, rubber, food from the café etc. That all together on a warm summer day in a gas station it's "nice" atmosphere I guess it's a smell of freedom, to be on the road with a car

- the food from the cafe ...
reminds me of the days i used to wander in the pits ;) .. that smell of oil, petrol, clutch, brakes ... i absolutly love it 8) :P

hahaha that sums it up! :D

Love the smell of petrol and other car fluids myself and the smell of hot car when you stop :P
the best time to stop at a gas station for me is after midnight :P thats when I really enjoy the moment, coming from the distance on some unknown for me gas station... noone's around... coffe and a little something good to eat... no rush... get outside sit on the hood (yes on the hood but not full weight :D) and listening to the cracking sounds of engine and exhaust getting colder :P

Oh, yeah, I love the smell of petrol stations. Especially the petrol smells. It smells so good just when you've filled the tank, and you're bringing the nozzle back to the pump. The smell enamating from the nozzle and from the tank is one of the most appealing in the world. It's like perfume.

Ok, I'm scaring myself...
