Yes, I have resorted to travelling to the law library to use the internet. There are two other people in the computer lab and I feel like such a nerd. My home modem has simply refused to connect to the internet. The company will send a new one soon, so they say.

ADSL. It was originally with Bigpond, then we changed to Optus. The modem is three and a half years old, so I'm not surprised it's broken.

It's a newer, better contract with the company. My mother is paying for it anyway. :P

The monitor I'm using now is making a disturbing buzzing sound...

luckily i have my laptop with WLAN provided by the uni :D

but the connection isn't the most stable one :|
