I went up to check out the shifter kart up at a mechanic friend's garage and saw one of these beauties in the back lot with the rest of the "junk cars".

I don't know much bout this model, but I love its compact-muscle-car look. The version I saw was a "Honey Bee", yellow with black stripes going down the sides of the car and black 13" wheels with a chrome lip. Looked great.

It has a 1.4L 4 banger, but would surely be a great candidate for a LS1 Frankenstein swap. I'd buy it off of him but he wants to keep it, I think he said he wanted to swap in a Datsun race engine from that era. Oh well.

The one I saw fears a B310 Honey Bee. Did a quick image search and that's what came up. If I had this car I wouldn't care much about balance. It would be a bad ass cruiser powerful enough to at The rear ties in a split second.:) I can dream can't I?

it's a 510 man, not a 310!

this is a 310.

yeh, they're both ugly... no style at all... just "unique" in a very American side of the pacific.

an LSx motor would decimate the frame of a 510 if it's not done right. It's better to swap a high revving engine into it. You can make a lot of power with those little motors. Their bottom ends are pretty much bulletproof. Build the valvetrain right and you can spin that thing well past the end of it's power band.

the 210's are a little harder to find but just as cool. I would prefer a 210 over a 510, but wouldn't turn any Datsun down :D

The Z Freak has spoken correctly, it's actually a B210.

Updated first post with my photos of this classic beauty.

Well the owner says he has an racing engine from that era(I think) that has 140hp. Going into a car that had around 50hp stock, it should be a fun car to drive after that swap ;)

Well... the Datsun 1600 SSS should go very well there, and the 1600 SSS has 100hp stock, so I guess it will "easily" go to 150hp. :D

Very nice car, just don't like the bumpers... :D
