I've been to India as well.

Do you need a visa to go there? Get your shots as well if you haven't got them all (I think yellow fever and something else as well). Malarone might be useful in case you get malaria, and NEVER drink water unless it's been throughly boiled or comes from bottles. That means, no ice cubes, and might be a good idea to not eat salad (it's probably been washed with tap water).

Take a few boxes of Imodium as well.

this cousin of mine was born and brough up in UK ... when ever she come here she bring the big bag of medicines :lol: ... shes always puking and her sotmach is always upset :lol: .. such a turn off :lol: .....

so yeah .. be very carefull with all the edibles, drinks :)
