I have searched the forums and cannot see if this has been posted before or not.
It's a Lambo Diablo with 1187PS (about 1000bhp)

Damn it looks nice but I would not want to go booting it on a corner.

with wings on the side, would make the Diablo fly...
this "car" is impossible to use...only for dragraces,...etc. It has more than twice as much HP as the "normal" model!!!

no the Lamborghini Diablo, Diablo Jota, and Diablo SV are the only 2WD models(or maybe the GT also? not sure)
the Diablo VTs, including the VT Roadster, are AWD, and there are no roadsters with only RWD

Diablo Jota, and
i meant Diablo SE30, which is an anniversary model, celebrating the 30year existence of automobili lamborghini, and theres a SE30 Jota , which is a racing version of the SE30. u can c the SE30 in a topgear vid, where Jeremy compares it to a Bugatti EB110

no the black car is a McLAren F1 GT, the last roadgoing version of the F1 McLaren made, its a more luxurious car, leather all over the interior, and the bodywork is meant to improve downforce while reducing drag. Only 3 were ever built, making it even rarer than the McLaren F1 LM(middle car in my pic).
it has the standard 627hp engine, and weighs 1220 kg.
here r some pics, from sc.net(note the mclaren F1LM in the truck)

by the way i think this is getting a bit off-topic, maybe we should start a new 1?

Can the tyres manage all that power because the tires that originally are fitted are thinner because they have to cope with less power, so if the car has that amount - 1187HP - of power the tires should be wider for better traction, right? If that was the case the tires sticks out of the car, so they must have changed a lot on the car like motor management etc. so thereby the car must be undrivable to my opinion or am I totally off base?
The Lambo would be very fast in a straight lane but beside that it would be very very difficult to handle the car and very unreliable.

The engine is much stronger than you give it credit for...allanlambo who has a Diablo SV that is fitted with NOS hasn't had any problems so far...and you cant say that Diablos were really built to be fitted with NOS.

One word: Insane!
I wonder what the turbo lag is like on that car...it must be intense if they are running enough boost to more than double the power output of the engine. That must be scary when the boost hits :D! I think it would be nearly undriveable...but what do I know, I've never even driven a Lamborghini. I think someone might know though...

Thats one thing I think everybody should get to do before they die.. go at full revs down a straight line in a 1000hp diablo.

The 1000+BHP that it makes is cool, but the 1200ft/lbs or Torque is even cooler.
this car is for mad racers.

How exactly am I only "Nearly" right ??
The Lamborghini Diablo SV Roadster, a small history.
The first 'new' car to come from Sant'Agata since the Audi take-over was
this SV version of the Roadster, it would have been commercialized to make open-top driving a Lamborghini a little more available to the public. The SV was set sell at a lower price than the VT Roadster, just like the Diablo SV is the less expensive Diablo available.
Probably the SV Roadster would be positioned between the SV Coupe and the Diablo VT type, since for some strange reason the rear-wheel drive Diablo had been canceled for the 1999 production year.
The SV Roadster was just like the SV Coupe, a stripped down version of the normal VT Roadster, the suspension geometry was simplified, but the full system would still be available as an option. Also the rear wing wasn't standard, but still a rather very expensive option.
Another option is the very special Lamborghini suitcase-set, finished in the finest leather available, suited to fit to the color of the interior of the car.
Off course, the SV Roadster prototype used alcantara for the seats, but on special order you could have leather upholstered seats and even race type bucket seats with four-point seatbelts would be available.
As usual for Automobili Lamborghini SpA, any color you like can be used for the bodywork, but the factory still tries to keep everything rather normal, by suggesting an already very vast palette of colors available, like the flashy orange bodywork of the prototype on the picture.
A little after the car was presented on the Geneva Auto Show, the Audi management of Automobili Lamborghini SpA decided not to commercialize the SV Roadster, although several demands were already made by the US importer. The SV Roadster was never put into real production but strangely enough some do exist, the factory actually built a couple of prototypes, one even with the 1999 redesigned headlights, but they never actually put it into production. The US-distributor wanted it for their market but since Audi took over, all the rear wheel drive only projects (SV) were canceled. The US-distributor did make some SV Roadsters themselves in the United States by doing exactly what the factory did, removing the front drive shaft, front differential and the front half shafts. It lightened the VT Roadster by 250 pounds and they were real fun to drive according to Grant Johnson at Exclusive Inc., the current US Distributor.
the SV roadster isn't the only RWD Diablo Roadster...

And when did I say it was ???? I only said that there were a few SV Roadsters built to prove the point that 2WD roadsters do exist. The point was proven and didn't need all the "one off's" mentioning as well.
gucom said "there are no roadsters with only RWD"
you said "...there were a few roadster SV's (2WD) built"
and all i'm saying is that there are a few more roadsters with RWD.. thats all :)
lol... just saying you know... :D
