I know it's a broad question with lots of ifs maybes and so on, but I have to ask this.

So post away...what's your opinion...

p.s. The question is intended for Europe.

^ E30 is what you're speaking of, right? If yes it would be quite a nice E30 for 4000E

mr2....how reliable would you say this car is?

So if you don't have a car, and you need something you can rely on mr2s, 200sx and 20 year old bmws come to mind is that so?

^ :) This would be the most fun, no doubt.

I am currently in germany, and I am talking about a relatively reliable car. Something that you can trust and not having to pay too much for maintenance.

p.s. I think I found what I am looking for but I'm not saying anything before the deal is final. Wish me luck.

MX5's can be had for less then 4000€ and they're pretty reliable and fun ;)

Maybe some kinda VW Golf if you want more space...

Guess what I'd suggest? :D
for 4000€ I'd be looking for a very very nice e30 no rust whatsoever, mint condition about 60-100.000km on the clock, serviced in BMW with original service book is a must(well still the price should be more around 3000€) ofcourse it will take some time to find this and you can buy a deadbeat e30 for 3000 too but if you'll take your time and search its possible to find a very good e30 8)

e36 will be for about 3-3,5€ in ok condition but prices for service and spareparts are still high.

e34 is also a good choice, slightly more expensive than e30 but you can find a good one, I'd probably wouldnt take any engine smaller than 2,5 for e34

e30 would be my choice ;)

well almost any car that have been serviced on time and with quality spareparts/oils ets should be ok to buy
