GT3 (PS2 related) Fastest Top End

Whats the fastest you've ever gotten a car up to on the Test Track in GT3? I know theres a catwalk bug for the Escudo, so ANY runs made in that car are automatically disqualified. Heres my best:

1047hp Lotus Elise - 276mph

That bug works actually with any fast car.. I managed to pass the barrier only with the Toyota GT-One myself, as for a legal one, I really don't remember since in GT3 I prefer to actually attend the "normal tracks" and race on them instead of going as fast as I can in a straight line :D

Really, I didnt know u can do it for any car. But I only know the top speed of the car because in the early stages I found that the test-track was the easiest to make cash on fast because I could beat the GT cars in my "street" esprit. My personal fav. track is Laguna Seca.

AH LOL I forgot you can use the wheelie trick w/o exiting the track :D of course I tried that too :D

I've had the Toyota race car up over 270. Whats the trick that everyone is talking about with the Escudo? I've had that car up over 330, but only for like 2 seconds when the front tires come off the ground. Is there something more that I'm missing?

yeah there is a settings for the cars suspension and stuff that when on the straights it pulls the front almost vertical and shoots down the straight and i reached if i remember fully 1164 km/h

Of course you will need a souped up Escudo (1800 hp) or something very powerfull and fast.. I did the wheelie also with the GT-One and the Astra or CLK DTM I think

btw the fastest way to make money is to use the escudo on super speed way endurance. put a rubber band on the left analogue stick to pull it to the far right(into the wall) then put a heavy book on the accelerator... pretty much guarentees 1st place!

In GT2 (i don't have ps2! =( ) the fast that I got was in a Ventura I think, about 900hp - 394km/h, didn't got more because of the track (too short) =P

i dont play gt3 much or even like it but hoq do u do the wheelie trick?

what i found fun was 300zx max hp somthing like 980hp equip dirt tires then goto swiss alps and have fun drifting :D fastes lap i could do with this car is a 1.26

using the cheat settings i've had the toyota GT 1 over 2,000 kph
but with out cheats the only one i can remember is the Supra- 1,081 hp- 440 kph
