What happend to the stig?

I read some where that they made a 0-100-0 test on a aircraft carrier and he fell of the side and died? did they show that on top gear?

must be a sick joke?

The new one listens to the same music as the first one did so its got to be the same guy! or is that music just BS too?

According to the BBC interview with perry mccarthy (old Stig), the music part of the timed lap is a production secret. So, it's very possible that the production team added the music after recording the lap. I think that's very possible since we all know jeremy likes radio 2 and/or classical music :) Or is that a joke too? After all, you can never take top gear and jeremy too seriously.

It's still possible that the new Stig is still perry mccarthy. It's not hard for a racing driver to change the driving style a bit to produce completely different times. When he's participating in a real race, he wouldn't be going sideways that much anyway. It's all for the show!

Yes I agree. When I am driving hard, I let the engine tell me when to shift gears I supposee big racers like the stig needs to be told what to do by the sound of the engine or by the screeching of the tires.

Tiff does have an F1 background and he has raced in the Grand Prix. Jeremy owns the lethargic SL55, which is FI (cheap power IMO) and has all the luxury rubbish. Tiff, on the other hand, drives the highly tuned, naturally aspirated, F1 inspired M5- a real driver's car. Since Tiff has a F1 racing background, naturally he will own a car with F1 characteristics in its design- that's what I like about Tiff.

Ive been dowloading top gear and 5th gear off of racingflix.com for a while and ive never seen any of those episodes. I was wondering if anyone could help me out by sending me those episodes. I havent seen any with the new stig and very few with the old stig, so any help in getting them would be great. thanks

THE STIG is TIFF NEEDLE, we all know it.

remember the Stig came when Tiff left for 5th gear, so Tiff signed on with 5th Gear, and woa so he would not get in legality crap, bu doing both shows they put him as the stig. It just makes sense

2nd) TIFF was indeed an ex-formula 1 driver , but he only driven in 1 race b4 , monaco i think , in the 60s or 70s

and if u talk about inconsistent lap times byt the stig due to good days n bad days , consider this, they even put up the lap times under the same category for a wet or dry lap ... :cry: :cry:
