koenigsegg said there was minimal damage to the car... apparently the driver was speaking in his cellphone, and didn't notice the turn a head

It's like Christian says "It could just as well happened to a Golf". I wonder if the dude who drove it in to the ditch will lose his job at Koenigsegg.

Well - not such a loss.. I mean they have only made about 5 of these cars over the last 4 years - right? :P

Well I think people know this car is pretty unsafe ;)

Was probably going fast, as I can imagine you just do not have the option of going slow in a car like that..looked up and realized he was a second to late to make the turn, panicked like a little girl, and slammed on the brakes, sliding into the ditch.

A statistic from a defensive driving course I took last Sunday:

"Talking on the cellphone while driving will slow your reaction times by 37%."

Either way, this guy is still a dousche.

The crash-per-Koenigsegg rate is impressive - out of the 10-12 cars they must have sold... we've already seen a couple of them crashed :P thet's the 20%!! definitely, a very dangerous car to drive :wink: :mrgreen:

Well actually one of the cars has been "crashed" at least twice so the ratio is lower than you think ;)

Its a dangerous car, very dangerous but thats what makes it cool. Because you don't see them everywhere!

Seeing them in this state though is a shame..
