Hi everyone, greetings from Singapore, am living on this little red dot on the world map. Here are pics of my current ride. It's a 2.5L 4GR-FSE Dual VVT-i - 215 BHP, 260NM Compression ratio : 12.0, that's right, the same one found in the Lexus IS 250. This is a JDM model and slots in between the Lexus IS 250 and GS 300 in Japan. It is a grey import and not officially available outside Japan, enjoy the pics everyone!
Prior to registration, just got out of the port...

Alryte guys, just an introduction on this car for those who have not heard about it before
The Toyota Mark X (Japanese:トヨタ・マークX、~エックス) is a mid-size automobile created by Toyota for the Japanese market. The Mark X was introduced in 2004 and is manufactured in Kanegasaki, Iwate, Japan. Also sold in China as the Toyota Reiz, it is available with either a 3.0 L or 2.5 L (265PS/215hp) Toyota GR series V6 engine. The engines offer dual VVT-i (variable valve timing) with gasoline direct injection. The rear-wheel drive models have a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard, and the all-wheel drive models have a 5-speed automatic. All models are fitted with Double Wishbone suspensionup front and multi-link suspension on the rear
The Mark X is the successor to the Toyota Mark II, which was first introduced in 1968. Although the vehicle features an impressive interior with quality that can be categorized as a luxury sedan, it is aimed at the middle market. It shares the basic platform with the Lexus IS , GS and Toyota Crown.

Very interesting (and very nice) exhaust outlet placement, I wonder why they do that to NA cars. IMO the back looks better than the front, not a big fan of those headlights.

thats not so bad, especially considering it s RWD. i like it! 8)
What about the proper custom shot? The one with the key at the dealer doesn't count, LOL

Haha, all JDM cars are restricted to 180km/h. If you take a trip down to Japan, even the legendary GTR has a speedo until 180km/h for their domestic cars. NSX, 350Z, WRX-STi are all bound to the 180km/h limit. However, with a removal of the limiter, have brought the car close to about 242km/h with the car still raring to go.
I guess Toyota has a large part sharing bin in order to bring down costs and maximise profits, i suppose that's fine, so long as they function well and able to last. This car shares the same seat design as the Lexus GS300.
Thanks for your comments

Haha, well i guess the cars that are exported to Finland will not be restricted to 180km/h as in Japan. Take a visit to Japan sometime in your life and you will get what i mean... Hehe.

I see, indeed, many European Toyotas are manufactured in Europe, they are mainly designed for European safety standards and roads...
