Last sunday I took some pics of a friends Golf. I know that not everybody is gonna like the car, but ok. :)

Oh, btw: both the removed licenseplate (that I usually just leave in the picture) and the Hawaii-necklace were specific wishes of the owner.

Nice pics,the mk2 golf is one of my favourites,my dad had a golf 2 16v gti,i loved it everytime we went out in it,got rid of it a month before i passed my test,lol

I like the car personally, althogh I'd have started with a mk2 GTI instead of a diesel CL :wink: :roll: those black Porsche wheels look great BTW! :wink:

The reason why it isn't a GTI: too simple. There are just too many that slap on some BBS wheels, big bumpers and a muffler. This car is a little different with its flat black 928 S4 wheels and original bright interior. Hard to believe that the paint and interior are all original! The car was bought for a mere €500!

The dieselpart is also different on this one, with its 1.6 non-turbo engine. A 2.0l TDI (170hp stock) + DSG transmission were already bought. At the moment the engine is being rebuild with other pistons, turbo etc, and the aim is 300bhp+..... 8)

Yeah I can see 4 MkII Gti's from my bedroom window..

Anyway the wheels look great and the state of the car is exceptional, keeping in mind it only cost 500 Euros! :shock:

I had to wait for quite some time before there were no cars or people in sight. :D Oh, and as a bonus the image-compression at Imagevenue seems to be much better than at Imageshack. Worth the extra effort of uploading. :)
