Im a noob to this site where do u guys get ur avatars from?

still image avatars you can make yourself from any picture with an image editor to resize it

animated avatars take a bit more work, and generally most people will see them on other sites and steal em

I usually make my own avatars, but sometimes get them from the web.

I can take pretty much any video and chop a clip off and turn it into an avatar. That is what I did with my current one. It is a clip from the StreetHawk intro. The hardest part is keeping the size, not dimensions, but file size, down to a small enough level where you don't lose the clarity of the image, but it isn't too big where folk with slow computers or net connections are effected by a long load time.
