This was actually my first indepth after I started my new job in Lugano. It's my godfather's car, but despite that, it's very hard to hang around with him and the GT3. Mostly because of "family problems", but basically because we both work a lot, and in different hours :bah:
that day we spent the evening cataching up and roaming around and pics were taken in a rush before sundset :bah: But hell, what a nice car it is, especially in red!
And it pulls! It's really a different experience from basiic 911. rough, feeling much faster, sounding louder, totally focused, a real pleasure to be in its seats!!!

This 996 GT3 MK1 has been the beginning of a prolific success story in many GT3 championships for Porsche and that continues always today. The Clubsport pck is such a must. Stunning photography Matteo, this red color is my favorite. :D :good:

The 996 GT3 MK1 was for a long time my favorite GT3, but nowadays I still prefer the MK2.

Anyway, thanks for sharing these pictures with us!

Sorry to hear about your family problems but Im glad you get to spend some time with your godfather and his car.

Amazing car the MK1 GT3 :twisted: . Even though i do prefer and have a model of this car in yellow, it's still a very nice colour for the car :wink:

personally i didn't like it in red but in these pics it looks nice...

I have to disagree with Dani, I am not a huge fan of the MkI - just a few things bother me.

Still very nice though and must be cool to have a car like this in the family! :D
