That's a wonderful car with good ol' fashion turbo lag ... and a great noise to boot!

It's a friggin' shame that we never got those RS2s here in the States. I'd love to have one.

Guess I'll hafta make do with a chipped UrS4. :D

The badge is integrated in only one piece. All info on the RS2 is on the badge: The car is based on the S2 Avant ( Audi's 80 Avant ), it's the first RS (Rennsport) car from Audi AG. and the turbocharged engine, the brake, suspension, wheels are all tuned by Porsche. Plus the assembly was handled by Porsche at their plant in Zuffenhausen.

So read the badge like this: R(Renn)+S2 (S2 Avant) + Porsche (Co-development project between Audi and Porsche)


What's the v-max or the RS2 BTW?

The Audi RS2 top speed is ~265 km/h (electronic restricted), but this car can do beyond 300 km/h easily with a proper chip. :wink:

NO!, apart from the brake upgrade I did (and they were a factory upgrade" this baby will remain bone stock... I like it like it is, and if I wanted to tune a straight five engine with 4,5,600 hp, I would buy a UrQuattro 20V or an S2. I don't want to mess with a completely original ikon :D
