I have never understood this whole spring break thing. Is it different than summver vacation?
The shaker saved the act by continuing bravely :lol:

Spring break is a week long break for students in the US. It usually occurs near easter in the middle of the second half of the school year. It is known for being very wild with high school and college kids . . . and older people that should know better, doing generally crazy things during their week long escape from school. Alcohol, beaches, and doing things that one will likely regret are common themes.

People don't want all the college kids getting out at once and organizing mass chaos so they stagger the dates for spring break from school to school. My spring break will be the last week of March.
