I have no problem imposing a 'tax' on someone who has put a 'victim' into the situation, in which they require extra funding by way of a victim support fund.

Your average speeding driver is not this person however. If the 'tax' applied to people who caused a crash, then I would not have a problem with this. I am shocked that the govt. would even consider this, taking into account the current climate with regards to speed cameras.

Yeah that is the idea, at least you have used a resaource. To be cought speeding, you on;y have to go through a silly box

Do note, this fine is not for parking violations or small speeding tickets. Only when you have to come to court, and they find you guilty you have to pay it.

Ours includes small speeding fines. :cry:

It's a good plan but is it only 30 pounds or is it more depending how reckless you have driven.
