I vote cool on style alone but not subzero. It just doesn't have that certain something that makes me like it very much. I have driven four different E-Types and not once did I get out thinking, "thats a really cool car!"

this car oozes sex appeal. a imeless classic, so i gave it a subzero.

this thing is sex on wheels. i used to walk past one every day i went to school and i never got tired of looking at it.

imo the Ferraris of that period have absolutely no chance against this baby :)

SZ for me 8)

As long as it's a 5.4V12 Roadster.SZ

I like the first generation coupes with the 3.8 l engine and covered headlamps.

Sub Zero - what a cool shape. Looks awesome today as well. Classic design :)

it's cool for sure. Performance and looks are not sub zero for me. It's interesting that you chose that year for the example pic (is it a '69? iono). Usually people show the earlier ones with more flush headlights.

I think it looks sublime. But different years and different specs really affect the coolness of the car. But it's generally cool. Only some specific ones I think would be sub zero.

Subzero! Very unique and still beautifull.

what ? 're you guys serious?

Uncool is what I've voted ...I don't care about it's history :s I don't like its looks, and the feeling it gives me

it used to be race car ? right? I can already imagine it bobbing up and down like a duck on the water

Which it is.
The Series 3 with the V12 has a different front. This looks like a Series 2 with the 4.2 litre straight six.

Facts: When the E-type appeared in 1961, it was technically more advanced than Ferraris, Maseratis and Aston Martins, and at the same time just half or one third of the price.
It's also one of the sexiest cars ever.
But I have only given it a "cool" and not a "sub zero", possibly because of irrational feelings, but I think it is a bit too common compared to the sub zero candidates.

Still one of the all time greats.
