For all you sony fanboys

So for everyone here who says that Microsoft dosnt give a damn about their customers and such, I got a call from a Microsoft rep randomly yeterday on my cell phone. She was very kind (american, suprisingly :wink: ) and told me that because my XBOX 360 had broken and it had taken awhile to get me a box to ship mine in due to the large number of claimes, I was getting 3-months of XBOX Live for free. This seems to be the norm rather then the exception, as there are a few other people I know that had their 360s break and are getting calls about free XBOX Live.

I think this was a good way for Microsoft to handle it, as they replaced all the consoles for FREE and gave free XBOX live to replace the time that you were unable to play the console and then some.

Am currently waiting to see how Sony handles the ForceFeedback controllers for early adapters.

I am happy to know that you got something for the delay and that Microsoft actually cares for their customers no matter what the media wants us to think.

Also on the note of Xbox Live I thnk they shouldnt charge for it. It should be free like the Playstation and PC people...(Well with the exception of the WOW folks.) So basicly your getting something which was alreadys supposed to be free for.....free....for 3 months.

Also about this forcefeedback issue I think Sony will recall it or offer some trade in program or some shit. I mean it's not that big of a deal unless you bought like 8 extra controllers....then you might be screwed...but we will see how well that goes. Anyways have fun with XBL.

As pointed out - everyone gets 3 Months Free Trial ;) - and its notlike you aer gettign a product - they will want your credit card number and really, they are just granting you access to a network - did youask if there was a Cash Option instead? ;)

While it's nice that they are doing something about it, when, or will they ever, make a sixaxis controller with the rumbling? I suspect thats what people really want.

Anybody else read about the voided warranties from Sony? If you ever have a problem and call them, do not admit to using anything other than Sony's official cables to hook the PS3 up.

All in all, this whole "next generation" gaming has been nothing but shenanigans. Both Sony and MS have made big mistakes. In then end I only care if the games will be good. I don't give a damn which one is technically better.


Also, I have 3, 48 hour passes to Xbox Live Gold if anyone wants them, I have no use for them.

So then you have to use your last gen controller for your next gen console? And you dont get the variable triggers. Also, you will probobly have to pay for the adapters, which sucks.

its nice that they gave you the three months free but in reality it costs them nothing to do that. Xbox live is actually a huge ripoff but the consumer has no choice but to get it because online play is the shit.
Actually, it does cost them, I foget the name for it, but its revenue that they would have recieved from me, but are not recieving it from me because they gave it to me for free. But yea, it should be free anyway :x

that is funny i was playing xbox live yesterday and i was hosting a RB6 battle, and my connection can normally only handle 10-12 people well these two guys came in the game and it started lagging, by the way the game already was underway. so i kicked the two guys that came in the game. well one of them sent me a message, say that he was a Microsoft tester and by kicking people i can easily get my xbox live account cancelled, well i sent him one back and said tester or not you weren't playing and you and your friend came it and it was lagging up the whole game and i wasn't the one complaining about it. i am still waiting for a reply :D
