right now they have out WM6 , but a supposed next-gen multi-touch screen is in the works.

nvidia's UI seems really awesome though:

Yeah that guy did put a lot of effort into it. And it doesn't look half bad. There will be plenty more iPhone clones before the June release date.

Speaking of Windows Mobile, I just picked up my first WM device: Motorola Q. Just replaced the Palm 700P with it and still learning how to us the OS, first impressions are that WM is not very intutive. But I guess I will just gotta get used to it coming from Palm.

i came from a Treo600, and i completely agree with you about intuitive operation. i was able to any bit of information within 2-3 clicks and palms ability for one-handed operation is unrivaled. BUT, the treo had some serious integration problems (doubling/tripling contacts randomly) with my outlook '03 AND directpush was handled through 3rd party applications. all in all, i like my MDA (WM5; HTC wizard, 8125) more than the treo.

Sorry to jack the thread here.

But personally, I like the Motorola Q a lot. Very pocketable, a little left to be desired on battery life though, I could barely make it through a day compared to 3 days or so on my 700P. Then again, slim form factor.

But the OS, ehh. Maybe it is just me, but I don't like it at all. It's been 4 days already and I still haven't gotten used to it. And I consider myself computer savvy. I know what you mean about the Treo and intergration problems, why not just hooked it up through Outlook and Outlook Conduit? I found that always worked well.

I wished Palm made a slim PDA phone :( .

What about this one guys @ 1/2 the price looks exactly the same:

When it comes to affordable iPhone clones, Meizu seems to be leading the pack now that they've unveiled the pricing for their M8 cell phone. The 4GB model with built-in camera will go for $310 while the 8GB version will go for $400. The entry-level model (with no camera) will go for only $195 at 4GB and $285 at 8GB. Compare that to the iPhone's $499/$599 price and suddenly Meizu's option doesn't look so bad. Though it's still an iPhone clone.

^ just saw that on engadget. Looks promising. I'm glad other manufactures aren't going to let Apple take over another market ;)

I'll be waiting until the end of the year to make the jump to a pda/mp3/cellphone. I hope to be rocking a nice 8gb phone with a sweet pair of those big sony bluetooth headphones by winter ;)

The Meizu isn't THAT cheap. Bang for the buck has to go to the Windows Mobile phones.
