/\/\ Nice list!

The 599 GTB is seriously fast!

And I like the fact that the 360CS is faster then the 430 and F40 and only just behind the F50! :D

Would have expected the 959 to be faster :bah:

I guess we should take the 959 time with a big grain of salt..

I would like to see comparative lap times in a Carrera GT, SLR, and Veyron...jut to get an ideea of how fast the FXX is :D

there is no way in this world, that the 959 would be that slow ...

interesting stats, thx

360 CS was on pirellis if I'm not mistaken, and the 430 is on bridgestones :P ... I think

I think that this 959 time comes from a visit of Sport Auto (the french magazine) to Fiorano so it was made by a journalist with a factory car that he had to give back to Porsche HQ next day ... he certainly didn't push it to the last limit ...
But it was anyway slower than a F40 which was more a track car and even a 512 TR could be close IMO.

Without knowing the year and tyres used such a list is pretty moot ;)

I mean wouldn't peope hope that a 2005 race car was quicker than a 1988 road car ? ;)

I could see how the year would matter, as the track changes over time (rubber and oil and such), but how does tires matter. To me, I like when they use the stock tires, because when you start changing tires your changing alot of things. I believe cars should be tested the same way they come out of the factory, without tire changes. I would imagine that they used the stock tire, as these times were probobly done to show comparative lap times, and it seems like Ferrari wouldnt be changing tires to get quicker laps then putting diff tires on the road car, it just dosnt make sense to me :bah:

Im impressed at how much quicker the FXX was then the Enzo. And the 599

Impressive evolution!
BTW Porsche time could in no way a comparable figure! I guess if tested by a Porsche driver with enough time on the Fiorano, it would have been in the 1:33ish range.

Older car=old tyre technology?

Regarding 959`s time, stop finding immature excuses and get your info right.

Autocar test,
Porsche 959 driven by racing driver Walter Brun (his own car)
F 40 driven by Gerhard Berger

Berger drove too the 959 and he said the Porker it`s 10secs slower than the F40, although W Brun would addmit it`s "only" 6 secs slower.

Keep you hair on, I was only suggesting that the older tyre design may have made a difference. Twat.

Nice - the Tifosi are biting peoples heads off again.

bergers track knowledge at Fiorano is woth 5 seconds a lap on its own.

Home track advantage counts for more than car abaility with similar performing cars.

Really ? How did you come to that conclusion ?

Why not 2 secs ? Or 15 ?

Where did you get the 5 secs ?

In your wisdom are you kind enough to point out where have I stated that track knowledge has zero advantage ?

And i`am still curious about those 5 seconds :P . It would have been wise from you to say that Berger knew the track a little bit better, hence a slight advantage. But it wasn`t the case from you

Also I don`t remember when or where I said that everything else sucks.

Everytime a Ferrari gets a better time (around God knows what track) against a Porker or some other performance car, retarded cocksuckers have the answer: not exactly the right tyres on the losing car, lame driver or some shit like that.

I don`t remember this kind of attitude from Ferrari fans.
So it`s the other guys that are cocksuckers. BIGTIME.

@nthfinitlystupid young man : learn your own fucking language !
retorhicle ? maybe it`s rethorical
Don`t use words that are too hard for you to understand and spell.

SEARCH my posts, you`ll find only replies that are backed by facts.

If you have something negativ to say about Ferrari`s , no problem at all, BUT these have to mirror reality.
RC once said that everybody on Jabbas considers american cars to be junk.Yet this is far from true, but apparently we have only experts around, everytime a new Ferrari appears the know it all guys are gonna find flaws plus they`ll make stupid comparisons with other supercars.

You wanna do a comparo ? Fine , but put all the cards on the table, not only the ones that favour the OTHER car.
Apparently even old school guys from Jabbas (the not so temperamental ones) forget about. :?
