From M5 Board:

Currency Motor Cars (Westlake, CA) is proud to introduce the first of an unprecedented line of supercars. This flagship model is an ingeniously modified a 2006 BMW M5 that can reach a top speed of 240 mph. This makes it the fastest, most powerful luxury 4-door luxury sedan on the planet. It's high compression V-10 engine has been brilliantly altered, by company founder Ron Cash, to accommodate twin-turbos and a custom, hand crafted inter-cooled system to kick out an astounding 810 horses. No one in the world has been able to achieve this...until now. This is the only car of it's kind. The mind-boggling power of this vehicle is complimented by the exquisite $100,000 alteration of it's interior. The leather in the steering wheel is the same as the leather in the seats. Fully aniline dyed Florida Crocodile in black. Only the finest suede and leathers have been used, much like the old Delahay and Bugatti roadsters adopted in the 1930's. The custom interior is all hand stitched, designed and installed by CMC co-founder Judy Amic-Angelo, one of the most respected product designers in the country.

And some pictures:

Yes the rims are :puke: , the interior with the Crocodile is aslo :puke: and the 240MPH is certainly BS... but it's a news...

The rims are a little too bling and the crocodile leather does look horrible, but otherwise the car looks pretty aggressive.

chrome dubs on an M5  . I guess some people like that. Those seats are nuts, a waste of alot of money and cocs, but still nuts.

The power sounds like fun, but turboing a high compression motor can be dangerious :?

Can't say I don't like the interior, I thought it was actually quite original :)

What I noticed was the very unconventinal positioning of the turbochargers, all the way at the back of the car right in front of the rear mufflers. That means the compressed air from the turbos has to go all the way back to the front of the car into the engine. That can't be good for the responsiveness of the throttle...

Can you say LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG :?: . That is a really odd location for the turbos, as the exaust has to go to the back of the car, spool the turbo, then the spooled air has to go all the way back to the engine. Really odd.

Well... the rims are awful, very "americanish rapper", and the power... well, don't know if it is really useful power, I suspect that it might be slower on a bendy track that the normal M5.

i hope they didn't kill too many cocs for the seats, :D

yeah the rims and interior are horrible.. but I like the 800HP 8)
i'll take a normal M5 (black), maybe with the 300HP power add on, could be cool 8)

Exactly... Apart from lack of space under the hood, I can't think of any reason for a setup like that. :?

I hate its looks but the specs are insane!

But have to see it before I believe it

Still looks dull, like all M5's.

^ Actually I prefer it dull. But it is the car itself that doesn't look good. Can't take away from the specs or the performance though.

I wonder how long would that engine last.

About rear mounted turbo chargers, i've talked to plenty of people that have driven cars with that set up and they all have said that turbo lag is almost non exhistent (which is the total opposite of what i thought), but these were on torquey V-8's. And if you have any common sense, turbo lag does not matter if you're driving the car the way it should be driven, with the revs up, this is what "down shifting" is for.

^ Interesting point. I don't agree with you however when you say that lag doesn't matter. To me, instantaneous throttle response is a very important aspect of driving pleasure. The level of direct feedback you get from a NA engine is just that much higher. Always using high revs may take some of the turbo-lag away, but that's not how I'd like to be driving all the time.

youve still got a 500hp v10 for your throttle response.

I wouldn't be worried about the motor so much as the transmission...

This is correct - the rearmount STS turbos dont suffer anymore lag than any other turbo system.. after all - the lag is nto form the length of the intake run.. its time to spool the air ;)

liquid in one end of a pipe means liquid out the other end of the pipe at the same time ;)

there is no measurable compression in the intake run - at least that is what all the tests and the STS owners say.

Anyway, I am more perplexed by the way these guys managed to get the laws of physics repealed for themselves.

240mph from a measily 800bhp with that large brick like car? ;)

Well the Veyron needs another 200bhp to get only 10 more miles per hour :) .

the engine compartment offers no room for any kind of forced induction set up. Even if you were to set one up, the heat generated from the turbos would destroy the engine in no time. Mounting the turbos in the rear alleviates this. Also keeps the engine from "heat soak" when you shut it off. All you have to do really is make sure you can still get oil to the turbos and you're golden.

The S85, from what i have heard from people who have been to M5 class, is capable of 725+ bhp n/a and 13-14K RPM.

What i find interesting is, the car is gear limited to 207mph, so w/o drivetrain revisions i don't see how 240 is possible

the engineers probably just pulled these numbers in their most basic top-speed equation and then ignored that their tires would explode way before 240...

Crocodile leather interior  Only Americans could have thought of that. But anyway, the specs are impressive although it will never do 240mph of course.

What exactly is the point of this comment?

For the record, and a quick search on Google will show some of the most gawdy and fucking ugly overkill ever applied to any car is sourced from and promoted by and built by German tuning firms.

It is seriously like some of you will look for any opportunity to hate on the US.. even if it is in relation to your blessed M5...

those seats look rather uncomfortable though with that leather croco pattern :? and those rims, come on  looks like now a days everything is centered on these "gangstas" it's so rediculous :(

Sigh... and in 5 years this car will be worth... how much? Oh that's right... about 5% of the price.

There are tuning companies, and there are TUNING companies. Save for Saleen, Roush, and the factory teams (the guys who run the Z06's in Le Mans), I wouldn't let any US-based tuning company touch my cars.
