Child support is manditory, its not something you can walk away from. The parent who does not have custody will be required to pay it. (Britney was paying K-feds child support from his former girlfriend) If K-fed gets custody the court could award probably $300,000 a month for child support and Britney would be required to pay it. In Texas with two kids it is 30% of your gross monthly income, before taxes, which is usually about 50% of take home pay.

If I was her parents I would be trying to get custody of the kids before K-fed.

Britney is crazy, she is also in danger of loosing her freedom, as her parents could also get her involentarily committed before she hurts herself. They would also be appointed as guardians of all her money.

The more money you have the more you have to be careful, just ask Anna Nicole.
