although i think there's a hint of lamborghini countach about them

the side skirts are clearly lamborghini influenced, not vector
the rear lights look clean and modern.
the facia looks like any curruption of japanese tuners; terrible
windshield wiper? why are they the same on opposing sides? I prefer W8/W2/AWX3 design which is 2 wipers attached on one side, and a single on the other side; both sweeping the same way.
side intakes = no vector influence
the gills or naca ducting of the originals would've been appropriate; but aren't on this design.
the mirrors are too lamborghini for me, and not the beautiful teardrop look
the interior = not any form of avtech
its a lot of work, sure... but it is far too busy for a production car; C+
ummm i think it looks like a poorly designed kit car.

there is a vuage resembelence...

but it looks really very little like the real car...

vauge resemblence? looks like this guy used the vector as a base to make his "concept" or whatever it is.
http://putanginaka.net/vector.jpg
The overall shape of the car, most notably the nose, is just like the Vector.
but yeah, it's all a little too much.. just as if some crazy Japanese tuner got their hands on a vector.

Just like the vector? you got to be kidding me. Yes, it is clear that both cars are based on the car, but there are more disparaties then similarities... look at the difference between the W2, W8, and AWX-3
http://www.nthimage.com/create_hits/update_1/Vector_comparo.JPG
does it really look like a natural progression of the Vector? no, it is only inspired by it's shape... not it's lines, makeup, and technology

Its a Vector shape allright! No doubt!

It sure looks look like a Vector to me! Maybe not the exact details, but especially compared to the white Vector there are strong similarities.

except there aren't... its passenger windows are wrong, every intake/exhaust vent is wrong, the wing is uninspired, the mirrors are wrong, the fender flaring is wrong... the list just goes on and on; yes it looks like a vectorish shape, that is the end of the similarities

LOL dude, in your opinion, "wrong," because its not exactly the same, but its similar, plus the original shape of the car is wrong to begin with so its a moot point! :P

No need to protect the Vector as if it was your son - this car resembles the Vector in many ways, starting for the nose, which is clearly inspired in the W8, the shape of the windows
It is similar to calling a NSX F50 a Ferrari F50, now do you see what I'm saying? I'm not protecting the W8 as if it were my son; daughter, my own car, etc. etc.... I'm mearly stating my own opinion. You guys take it as if I'm taking it so personal sometimes... I'll tell you I've only taken two things ever posted on JW personally.
~at least I'm getting you to post content instead of this out-of-control "[i] +1 lamo stuff ;)

Has nothing to do with what it's original shape... this "concept" art is largly taking the silouette, and japanese body-kitting the Vector... All I'm saying is it isn't a logical progression on the Vector theme, it is ismply a body kit with a few rediculous revisions.
Edit:
furthermore, Think of all the times you've seen various artwork of a McLaren, or some "future mcLaren" concept or whatever, and think it looks totally terrible; that is where I am coming from on this waste of time art...

Look at the overall shape of the car.. not all of the little details.
You've got to admit that the creator of this concept at least thought of the vector when creating it..
Never called it a Vector.. I repeat, it looks based off of it. Jebus.

well clearly the dude who made it simply used his previously vector model and just heavily modified it, in true ricer style. i don't see why this should be called a 'concept' it looks really unclean to me and not thought through thoroughly enough.
just like he: alright where can i add more edges and weird vents or different shapes :?

(from Stefan Schulze) Two years ago a Vector fan contacted me and asked if I would be interested in a redesign of an Vector.
I looked at this car and its story and I thought that it would be an interesting project.
It was only a self promotion work with the V8 Twin-Turbo as its result.
My intention was that its appearance would be realistic (not a crazy future design) and that it looked like a typical Vector.
If you scroll down in the first link provided in post 1 - the designer states that he took the basic vector design and made a concept of it.

WTF guys, i never said it didn't have the vector in mind when the guy made these designs.
I said it doesn't look like a logical progression of the Vector; and in the details, it doesn't share similar, or evolutionary characteristics. That, and i think they look like shit.

What, per se has been "owned"
I stand by everything I have said, and i challenge any of you to show where anything I have said is related to this "owning"
has the definition of "owned/pwned/own3d/pwn3d" changed in the last 2 years? [~rolling eyes~] maybe it's just that people here are idiots?

Maybe you don't see the Vector in this design but we do! And it is not an official concept. So no need to get so hot under the collar.

Looks like a mentally challenged designer from Toyota created that piece of garbage.
I have always loved vectors(well I am physicist and mathemacian), and drawn cars that have similar details as in thse concepts.
They are not as much function before form than vectors before, but none the less, I do like the look of them, it is not about out right speed neither, something like Ford GT would be enough performance. Jewelry, that is what these cars are for me.
I agree also with that the lambo vectors arenīt true vectors, these concepts do look more the part for me.(W2 is my favourite)
There are many people wanting to see the rising vector, like the phoenix bird rising from ashes, these concepts done right, reliability and high-tech being more important than the price, well having a few build would grow the appetite for more :) Continuum for the legend.
