Damn, this 961 was fast on LeMans circuit. :shock:

Thanks for this short but extremely rare footage of the famous Group B Porsche. :good:

Hmmm... a 961 to park next to the GT1 would be nice -- you think they have enough bits laying around to build another one? - lemme make a few calls and ask around ;)

It was Porsche's endurance race version of their rolling research laboratory (959). There was also the Paris Dakar winning version of the 959 as well. There's a pretty good write up of the 959 and it's variants here:
