News (03/01/07)
So I took a trip to Las Vegas. I forgot my short lense so i only had my telephoto lense. I wasnt worried because I didnt expect to see much, but I did see quite a lot of nice cars. In fact I found an awesome car showroom at the "Imperial Palace" which really posed a problem for my telephoto.

All this means I have some shots here for you guys with verying professionalism. Some of these shots are great, others are terrible but I figured youd still like to see them. There were some super rare cars in that gallery I wish I could have shown you.

So the 3 cars I had planned to shoot are all delayed. Mainly schedueling issues (Im going to Las Vegas on the 27th). Corvette and Sky most likely next month, Ferrari unknown. The good news however is my favorite and more reliable model has been in the mood lately. We had a shoot today and will have another next monday. I didnt have my Fiero to shoot with obviously but I still like how my Scion looks so I had her take a few with it. See my portfolio for more from the shoot.

Well Beverly Hills is about a 6 or 7 hour drive so I dont get down there much but I do fly for free and my car club does have events down there from time to time so Im sure itll come up.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yea the Corvette owner had some issues with his doctor and the sky owner turned out to have different days off than me and I couldnt get anyone to pick up any of my shifts. The Ferrari owner ive lost contact with at the moment =(

Yea in big California cities youll see lots of them and other scion models (Scion only sold to Californians their first year). When I went out of state to my aunts in Medford Oregon I didnt see one until I got back to San Francisco

So I took a trip to Las Vegas. I forgot my short lense so i only had my telephoto lense. I wasnt worried because I didnt expect to see much, but I did see quite a lot of nice cars. In fact I found an awesome car showroom at the "Imperial Palace" which really posed a problem for my telephoto.

All this means I have some shots here for you guys with verying professionalism. Some of these shots are great, others are terrible but I figured youd still like to see them. There were some super rare cars in that gallery I wish I could have shown you.

Yea there were a ton of bikers up there. just have to time things right, especially down at fort point. My god. My mom asked me, "was it pretty quiet down there? theres nobody in your shots." I laughed. I said "Mom, its the golden gate bridge on a saturday!" It was soooo hard to get shots without people or cars in the way. I got a ton like this.

At my Fiero club meeting last night, one of the owners brought in his MOM'S Fiero Mera. The Mera was a car professionally modified and sold brand new on the Pontiac lot in 1987 and 1988. And yes its covered in Ferrari badges. Only 247 were built.

A good friend of mine just bought a 2002 BMW 330ci so he needs to sell his Mustang GT so he asked me to take the car out for some photos. I didn't do a very good job but I'm sure he'll like them anyway. Taking some more pictures of the car and his new BMW tomorrow for his birthday.

Other than the obvious body mods it also has new suspension, brakes, exhaust, and the best part....no cat! This thing is LOUD. Driving through some of the tourist areas like Pier 39 it got a lot of attention. I caught people snapping pictures and a few asked me how much!? ;)

And after taking those pics I had a nice drive through downtown Los Gatos and the nearby hills with this bad boy with the window down. He kept flooring it and leaving me in the dust then slowing to let me catch up then flooring it again. It was pure heaven since that V10 makes my most favorite sound. If I were to offer some constructive critique.... your shots are layed out more as a landscape shot, with the focus feeling like it's the landscape, rather then the car.

My feeling is you are sacrificing the angle on the car for the angle on the background.... this doesn't mean that you have a rubbish background ;)

Hi, I am very thankful for all of the downloads this website has provided me with. I always try and say "thank you" whenever the opportunity arises. Unfortunately my internet provider has limited the uploading speed and even if I try to upload maximally I get a very slow speed and thus poor results. I am going to work something out and donate to the site financially as soon as I can. Thanks for the polite reminder.
