Would be nice to compile a top five of best post 2nd WorldWar Formula 1 races.
For me the number one is:
> 1957 GP of Germany Nurburgring. Fangio in a Maserati beats the Scuderia Ferrari and becomes WOrldCahmion for the 5th time.

Apparently Clarkson also thinks that's the greatest race. I wouldn't know. I've only seen small parts of it. And to be honest, I can't really remember many races I've seen. I remember sweet parts of races, like Schumacher in the rain in Monaco, Villeneuve's dad, Thierry Boutsen in Canada (but that's mainly because he's Belgian and won the race) and some of Senna's moments. Jacky Icks also was a great driver, but like I said I haven't seen any images of these old races so I can't really decide.

What was the race where Villeneuve and another guy touches wheels like 3 times and passes themselfs over and over on the last 2 laps.. .. that was more than a race, like walking the moon type off TV glory :D (well ok not quite but....) :)

that was the 1979 French GP, and it was definitely one of the best races ever.

also:
1979 west USA GP
1981 Monaco GP
1981 Spain GP

all with Villeneuve

Having seen the Enzo Ferrari documentary, thanks to Jabba, I think the finest alltime Grand Prix race was Tazio Nuvolari's win in the 1935 German Grand Prix :!:
