I guess the twin radiator Liquid Cooling from ThermalTake is doing its job.

what program is that? I'd like to see the temps on mine 3.0ghz hp pavillion. It sounds like it is ready to take off at idle...
The CPU ID app is the Intel one, and the "monitoring software" is SpeedFan.. quite useful.
Heres the latest OC work.. 4ghz... with a 3m49s SuperPI.. is that time even close to some of the monster systems on JW these days?

A good start but at 4 GHZ it should be a bit quicker I think, so maybe you need to check your memory timings.
Current Best Times Are :
1 Jabba 1m 12s - INTEL CONROE E6400 @ 4.3 GHZ
2 Karma 1m 19s - INTEL CONROE E6600 @ 3.6 GHZ
3 SFDMALEX 1m 53s - INTEL CORE 2 Duo E6300 @ 2.7 GHZ
4 tuffguy 2m 23s - INTEL CORE 2 Duo Laptop
5 thamar 2m 27s - AMD
6 Erez 2m 33s - AMD
7 mindgam3 3m 14s
8 PATo355 3m 21s
9 AL123 3m 22s
10 Chaos in 1983 3m29s
So I think you just might make it into the top 10.

Well its a P4 ... so it should do in the 3 minutes mark ... Try harder , check memory timings as jabba said , and run superp :)
Does it matter that I have slow EIDE hard drives and discount RAM and had the other crap shown running as well?
Maybe I should buy some extra shit to make a benchmarking system ;) hehe

The eide drives wont slow you more than 0.05 seconds ... some discount ram is pretty decent to achieve good results , just push them as far as you can go , in P4 dual channel helps , and higher mhz in memory is better than tight latencies , try to close all the software when enter in windows to run superpi :)

Yep, I agree with all of that, except I wouldn't bother with value ram and dual channel is essential for decent superpi times.
Heres the new dual radiator setup...

In the Top Ten with a P4 3m13s ;)

4.16GHZ is the most stable.. I can boot and run Windows at 4.2... but SuperPI makes some math errors ;)
Sorry I lied.. not 3m13s... but 3m06s.. ;) :P

For those that are interested in how fast and far youcan push a P4 3.4.... :P
I thorrled back the CPU and upped the memory clock... the result?

What a nice Valentine's Day present...
Not a bad overclock.. Are you running it at 4.16ghz 24/7? or just to make the benchmark?
In a month I'll be back into the overclocking game with my 1.8ghz E4300 Core 2.. should be able to get it to run at 3ghz easily with just air cooling.
Not a bad overclock.. Are you running it at 4.16ghz 24/7? or just to make the benchmark?
24/7
Is there any other way to run?
I overclocked to have great FPS in GTL and GTR2 ;)
Windows will boot at 4.25ghz... but SuperPI chokes on the math ;) :P

So - 24/7 at 4.1ghz sort of well, you know.. flames and shit... :P
The result?

Haha, so it was just matter of time/curiosity until the P4 finally blew up.
Too bad you couldnt of waited for the updated E6400 with 4mb cache.

Well - it wasnt the proc.. it was the board... the proc is now doing duty in a second gaming box ;)
The mobo delaminated and the solder melted on some transistors and shorted out - was like the nigth sky over bagdhad for a couple seconds ;)

Ahh, that must of been exciting ;) I have yet to blow anything up.. tried unlocking an AthlonXP way back and ended up smelling some silicon after trying to boot it up for the first time.
Next time make sure you have a quality motherboard built with all solid transistors.
By the way, did you happen to get my PM about data telemetry systems for sports cars?
