I kinda like the new TT, even if I'd still take the original :good:

The pics, as always, are spot on! grey car goes well with grey day :)

Nice photos, too bad the 2.0 I drove felt kinda awful to drive...

I need to give the 3.2 a whirl.

Great photo-session, this new TT MK2 looks superb, but I rather prefer the original MK1. :P

Beauftiful shots, beautiful car. I cant wait to see one myself

Could use a little PS to get those powerlines out of those river shots ;)

Thx for the massive reactions guys.
I'm quite happy with the pics considering the grey weather and very little time I put into editing, hence the power lines and other little imperfections

The car looks great in person, less girlie than the previous one. It looks even better in a darker colour.

Behind the wheel it's much more fun. The steering has improved dramatically, its precise and well weighted. The chassis is more agile and keener to turn in, only downside is the harsh ride. I've been told that the electro magnetic damping solves this partially.
Make no mistake, you still feel it's FWD so in tight corners you have to wait until the corner exit to floor it or you'll run very wide. Traction off the line caused problems in these damp conditions. (what do you expect? :?)
The engine is crisp and responsive compared to the 1.8T. Best of all, it sounds great for a four cylinder.
My only real problem was the driving position. First of all I had no support on the underside of my legs and second the footrest is positioned too much backwards so you're driving with a 90° bend left knee. Problems that can disappear if you're smaller than me (1m 88cm).

@TT: can you take this picture for next month's contest?

Nice photos, too bad the 2.0 I drove felt kinda awful to drive...

I need to give the 3.2 a whirl.

Journos said that the 2.0T was the one to take - and that the 3.2 V6 was too front-heavy compared with it :?
I think the journos drove a 2.0 with quattro and sport springs.

The one I had was fwd and had the standard springs. Torque steer was not too bad, but it was pronounced and the car kinda bobbed left and right due to the lazy springs...

I think those two things would improve it a lot. I think the 2.0 might however be a better car due to the lighter engine and turbo feel.

Having driven the older model 3.2 (comes with quattro) and a 1.8 with 225hp and also quattro, the 1.8 felt the better car (also it's several hundred kilos lighter, it helps).
