It seriously looks like they just ripped off the 300C. The 5.0 engine is interesting though.

It would make a nice intimidating cop car o have pull up behind you for running with no plates at 1am.. ;)

^Never seen that happen before... It might be a little rough to be thrown into that back seat with that low rear glass... ;)

I think it's pretty damn cool, I doubt they'll build it though.

Idd 300C ripoff, but you could also think of it as a good saloon version of the Fairlane concept! I wonder what Ford is doing at their design labs, probably 2 different teams competing against eachother. First we get the new design lines of the Ford Iosis, which is transferred to the new Mondeo, and now we get another design line continuing from the Fairlane concept. American market only?

Ford has a lot of tallent, but even though Mays is officially in charge, Ms. Ford gives the go/no go to all cars :(

I like this design... and it is the beginning of a branded design that Ford desperately needs... not unlike the branded Cadillac design that John Manoogian is responsible for.

as I hinted at many moons ago... Ford spent a lot of time into breaking down the design of the 300 C right from the get go ;)

Edit:

American Muscle: The Ford Interceptor concept celebrates the best of American muscle with a four-door that marries “Built Ford Tough” attitude with the sporty elegance of 1960s sedans.

Legendary performance: The Interceptor concept’s Ford Racing 5.0-liter Cammer engine runs on E-85 ethanol and produces 400 horsepower. This engine powered the Mustang FR500C to the 2005 Grand-Am Cup Championship in its first year of competition.

Safety: Interceptor incorporates Ford’s patented four-point “belt and suspenders” design in the front and rear seats. In addition, inflatable safety belts are included for rear seat passengers.

Naw, not the Fairlane or the 300C, they stole the design from the new Silverado IMO.

Good face on a truck, terrible on a limo. And yeah, Squircle, my ass.

I don't think this is that bad. The front looks a bit weird, but it sure is intimidating, and it's better than the Crown Victorias of today.
