Its officially the first pure GTI ever made (I dont agree 100% since the Renault 5 Alpine has a similar age and also I consider another pure GTI car; its even more radical) and with every ingredients that deserves to be subzero such as a lightweight engine, reliable, practical, sporty, fun to drive,....

In my eyes it is the Hot Hatch for the U.S. market, followed closely by th U.S. Ford Escort GT (And I'm not saying that cause I bought one this morning, Even though I did).
