Too bad it's using the NA body, I prefer the second generation more. But the NA does weigh less...
A bit less power then V8 "monster" Miata's, but I bet it's fun to drive =)

Nice idea with those throttle bodies. I still hope Mazda will install the MPS 2.3Turbo one day in the MX-5...

A V8 Miata sounds nice, but the extra weight would probably spoil the nice handling of the car. To me the V6 seems a great compromise between power and weight. From what I've read the V6 added only 70 kg's and did not significantly alter the weight distribution of the Miata.
Nice idea with those throttle bodies. I still hope Mazda will install the MPS 2.3Turbo one day in the MX-5...
That would be the sensible option, but I definately prefer the throttle response and sound of a high revving V6 with ITB's! :D
