Okay, I'm going to be totally honest. I'm new to this board and don't even own a Lamborghini. But my son created a comedic Youtube video involving a Lamborghini and I just thought you guys would get a chuckle out of it. Im betting the Lamborghini crowd has a good sense of humor.

You can see the video by going to youtube and searching for "chase emery lamborghini jumping" (sorry I cannot post links yet). If one of you longer time members like it you can perhaps post the link in a reply.

I hope you enjoy it, and I apologize if I should not have bothered you with it here. But, it's Friday so I figured you all would be up for it. :) And I read teh rules and he's nto selling anything so I figured it would be okay.

Lighten up. Isn't your avatar an improper use of Jesus? Nice language by the way, is that allowed here? There's always one on every forum I've learned.

Ok - so its a bit of a corny semi-funny joke - ... but how come anything posted on YouTube gets a rave review..?

Good Lord.. I have about 1000hours of in car video of street encounters, drives through the woods, races against bikes, on bike video, in race car video, on track, drag racing burnouts etc etc... but most of it is boring crap...

I am beginning to believe if I uploaded the worst 3% I would become a freaking Internet GOD... I would rule YouTu... GooglePipes.. I would get so many downloads I would clog Al Gores Intardweb tubes.. :P

Maybe it's just me, but as a Car enthusiast website, I much prefer "video blogs" about cars... not unlike this

Hey, it was mildly entertaining.

From a purely editing standpoint it would have been much better if the RC Murci was filmed outside and also if the shot inside the vehicle was filmed so that we the viewers really don’t see the vehicle type.

Tell your son to make more and to broaden his horizon. He could make a series of these types of films on a grander scale that could really become popular.

As simple (and obviously not at all entertaining to most of you) as this first video was, there is a lot of fun and entertainment to be had with these little shorts. He just needs to use more of a director’s eye. Give it a proper story (Beginning, Middle and End). Storyboard out the entire sequence. I think these could be really entertaining. For instance, if this was shot outside on the sidewalk or in the backyard on a little homemade street course, that alone would help tremendously. Have more shots of him in the real car reacting to what the RC car is doing. Incorporate more toys in the RC footage that will end up making it in the real world footage. Like the RC car pulling up to a Barbie doll, then a cut to the real footage of him looking out the window and interacting with a real women. There could be more little RC cars and then real shots of him and his friends reacting to one another. Those are just a few examples. There is so much that can be done and fun too.

No doubt this is true... but had the video been what you described the reaction would have been different.. ;)

Anyway - my "angst" wasn't really directed at the "producer" of this rather silly piece.. but more to the "fans".

If that piece garned "Wow's" and "Oooh's" what exactly would need to be posted to get a 'Booo' ;) :P

Well, I liked the attempt anyway. And btw: that Murcielago RC car is just cool :P
