I've seen one guy pulling a plane, but it was nowhere as big as a Boeing 747.

I don't think I can find a video, though.

750 Nm torque, V10 i beleive...

That must come in handy...

when your 747 won't start you can give it a little push

Interesting vid - wonder how 'loaded' the plane was though... you know, it's still a Jombo jet - but they could have saved some tons here and there

Impressive pulling power nonetheless :D :good:

BTW - it's the first time I see a Jumbo with the twin engines put together :? weird...

Yeah, maybe its just a body nothing more.

Well spotted BTW, never seen that before too  !

Well the plane weighs 155 tons when the VW is pulling it, I have no clue how much it weighs on a regular basis.

^ just did a fast google... and 155 tons is indeed the dry weight :D

Anyway - what about it they take out all the seats and cabin stuff? that's some serious weight saving...

Yeah, maybe its a cargo 747?

apologize for the STAN

aarggh, can't see the video, is there a download version?
the twin engine "Jumbo", there was a strange plane shown in the new BOnd movie with a twin engine mounted on the wings, could it be the same ?

I wonder if they tried it without the extra weight in the Toureg..

I've seen once a vid of a guy pulling a 747, so, a Touareg it's not such a big deal... :?
